The Dorothy Day Center is a food pantry ministry with three distributions. Catholic Worker takes food to many families and individuals.
Two grocery delivery times - two to three hours, third and fourth Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. October through May and 8 a.m. June through September at the Center.
The Holiday Program provides boxes of food for families recommended by the pastor of their church. Distributions occur the weekend before Thanksgiving and Christmas.Time Requirement: Is flexible to your time available
Second Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m. -one to two hours. Assisting with Regional Food Bank delivery unloading and shelving.
Every parishioner can also contribute by leaving non-perishable food donations in a wooden bin located inside the southeast entrance of the church.
Volunteers also transport, once a week (for a month at a time) donated items from the church to the Dorothy Day Center.
